welcome to the predictive edge, inc. chat room, where you can bring prospective students together with representatives from your college. when your college sponsers a chat session, we'll provide a customized login page and a banner linking the chat room to your website. we'll also set up multiple rooms if you would like to hold separate discussions on specific topics. predictive edge, inc. provides transcripts of your chat in html and microsoft word formats to help your admissions office keep track of valuable information about chat participants' interests and concerns. we monitor your chat session to ensure that the discussion stays on track and remains at an appropriate level. the monitor can remove or ban disruptive users from the site and send both private messages to individual users and public broadcast messages to the entire site. your chat room will be protected by a 'chatwatch' function, which automatically replaces undesirable words with acceptable alternatives. if you wish, we'll also send out e-mail announcements to your prospective students informing them of the date, time, and location of your chat room and providing instructions for logging onto and navigating within the site. chat sessions are a great way for prospective students to make important personal contact with your college at the early stages of their decision process.
